Our core values: dedication to the last detail

Café de TortugaComes from a one-hectare farm in Jardín, Antioquia, run by Don Alonso and Doña Hilda. Their meticulous planning and attention to detail fascinate us deeply.

Don Alonso shares his knowledge with us.

The Colombian spell

Imagine a landscape that might have sprung out of the Disney movie Encanto-high in the Andes, where hummingbirds and butterflies live. Right there, Don Alonso and Doña Hilda cultivate the coffee for the Café de Tortuga.

Where business meets family

For us, Café de Tortuga is more than a business project; it's an emotional journey. Our relationship with Don Alonso and Doña Hilda is a wonderful symbiosis of values and vision, and it fits perfectly with our mission to bring excellent but lesser-known Colombian coffees to Europe.

Sustainability & Ethics: A Holistic Approach

Don Alonso relies on upcycling and sustainability. Used coffee cherry shells are used as natural compost and even contribute to the production of a unique wine. The 16-year-old farm turtle's approval serves as the ultimate test of quality.
